A Welcome for Book Owners

You Have the Book.
Now Let's Put the Thinking
to Work.

Welcome to the reader's starting point for
AI Can Make You Visible. It Can't Make You Chosen.

A Personal Note from Ernie

Thank you for buying my book.

I wrote it because I kept seeing the same advice given to experienced experts: create more content, get more visible, try another tool, build another funnel.

But what if visibility isn't the problem? What if people already see you, yet don't understand why they should consider you?

Or they understand you, but something else is keeping them from moving forward?

That's the problem I want to help you examine.

My hope is that this book changes the next question you ask before spending more time or money on marketing.

How I Suggest You Read This Book

Don't try to turn every chapter into another assignment. Start by examining your own situation.

1

Identify the Familiar Problem

As you read the Introduction, think about the marketing advice you've received lately. How much of it began with an actual diagnosis?

2

Locate Buyer Movement

Use Seen → Understood → Considered → Chosen to examine where buyers may be progressing, stopping or choosing not to proceed.

3

Separate Evidence from Assumption

What have buyers actually done or said? What do you suspect? What would you need to learn before reaching a conclusion?

4

Make One Better Decision

Instead of creating ten new tasks, identify one meaningful question or constraint worth investigating next.

Your First Practical Exercise

Before you finish the book, write down your answers to these four questions.

  1. What do I know buyers are doing? Not what I hope they're doing, but what I can actually observe.
  2. Where might movement be stopping? Seen, Understood, Considered or Chosen?
  3. What do I think is causing it? Clearly distinguish a hypothesis from something supported by evidence.
  4. What is the next thing worth checking? Choose an investigation before choosing another marketing tactic.
Remember:
Knowing where buyer movement stopped is not the same as knowing why.

One Last Thing

You don't need to fix everything.

You need to find out what deserves fixing, why it matters, and whether your next action changes buyer behavior.

That's where better marketing decisions begin.

Enjoy the book. — Ernie
